Overall, this copy is in good condition. The boards are in good condition with minor wear, showing a few small marks and light discoloration primarily on the back board’s lower left side. There is light edge wear, with some nicks to the cloth at the top and bottom of the spine. The first free endpaper (FFEP) has a retail pencil mark in the top right corner, and the adjacent gutter is intact. There is some spotting on the fly title page, which lightens on subsequent pages. A frontispiece is included in this edition, with additional light spotting and foxing to the page edges throughout. The pages are generally clean, and the binding is firm.
