Condition report

Overall, this set is in good condition. All volumes feature marble effect page edges and raised bands. Vol. I: There's some rubbing and minor age related wear to the boards (see images). There's slight wear to the gutter adjacent to the pastedown. There's spotting to the first and last few pages and light/intermittent spotting throughout. There's a small (< 1cm) tear to the top edge of the fly-title page. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm. Vol II: There's some rubbing, marking and age related wear to the boards and the pages are slightly bowed. There's spotting to the first and last few pages and light/intermittent spotting throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm. Vol. III: There's a ~1cm surface level crack to the top left of the front board. There's also some fraying/rubbing around the edges of the boards and a small portion of cloth on the back board is loose. More generally, the boards are affected by marking and age-related wear (see images). There's fairly light/intermittent spotting throughout and the pages are bowed. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm.
