This condition report applies to both volumes unless stated. The pages are clean and the binding is fairly tight. There's some discolouration and fading to the spine and foxing on the first few pages, incl. the title page. There's also light, intermittent spotting (foxing) throughout (the spotting is slightly heavier in vol. I). This copy is ex-libris and has an inscription on the ffep. There's also some staining at the top of both pastedowns. The cloth covering the spine is slightly faded (the text is visible) and there's very minor age-related wear to the boards. There's some staining to the page edges of vol. 1 (see images) and the spine mesh of vol. 1 is partially visible from the pastedown.
