This is a first edition published by Eyre and Spottiswoode in 1951.

Condition report

There's heavy discolouration to the bottom left of the front cover and the bottom right of the back cover. The discolouration bleeds through to the pastedowns (see images). The pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. There's light spotting to the pages. There's residue from removed tape on the ffep and foxing on the page edges.
