Condition Report

Overall, this book is in poor condition. Some (roughly 10) of the pages have been torn at the margin. Page 113 has been torn from the binding. There's tanning to the first few pages and light tanning throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is relatively firm, however there's some fairly heavy tanning/staining in the margins of some of the pages. Also, there's some crayon or pencil marks in the margin of pp. 29. The gutter at pp. 372 is fairly heavily worn. The gutters beside the pastedowns have been taped, which may indicate heavy wear. There's a ~4cm crack to the top right of the cloth covering the spine. There's age related wear to the boards and fairly extensive rubbing around the edges and corners of the boards. The copyright page and ffep were either never present or appear to be missing. The first page in the book is the 'preface', on which there's an inscription and a pencil mark. Also, this book is marked ex-libris but is missing an identification label, which provides further indication that the first few pages (e.g., copyright page, ffep, etc.) may have been torn from the book.
