This copy includes 341 illustrations and 8 plates. It was published by Thames and Hudson in 1957.

Condition report

Overall, this copy is in good condition. There's a large tear to the back of the dust cover (bottom left). There's also a few smaller tears, age related wear, creasing and marking to the dust cover (see images). The boards are generally in good condition, however there is some foxing/marking across the top of the front and back covers. The pages are generally clean and the binding is tight, however there's some spotting on the end pages.
