This incomplete collection includes four volumes from an eight volume set. It was published by David Bryce and Son without edition remarks. Included in this sale are volumes 3, 5, 7 and 8. These are miniature editions. Each book is 6.5 x 9 cm.
Condition Report
Overall, this incomplete set is in fairly good condition. The only exception is rubbing to the cloth covering the spine, which affects all four volumes (see images). There's some age related wear to the boards, however the pages are generally clean and the bindings are firm. There's light foxing to the page edges and light wear to the gutters of some of the volumes. There's some age related markings to the pastedowns and end pages. There's also some spotting on the first and last few pages of some of the volumes. There's a very small (2mm) tear affecting the right edge of pp. 143-160 (vol. 3). There's a ~1cm tear to the bottom of the pastedown in vol. 7. Only one volume contains a tissue guard (vol. 5) and it's partially detached.
