The Star-Chamber: Text block is tight, pages are generally clean, gilt lettering, cloth around spine is slightly faded, text block is tight. There are a few marks and age related wear to the boards. There's foxing on the first and last few pages and light foxing on the page edges.
The Lancashire Witches: Text block is tight, spine mesh is visible from inside the front board, front board is slightly loose but in place. The pages are generally clean, cloth around spine is slightly faded and the text block is tight. There's a tear to the pastedown at the back of the book. There are a few marks and age related wear to the boards. There's foxing on the first and last few pages and light foxing on the page edges.
Jack Sheppard: A few marks to the boards and age related wear. Back board is slightly loose. Fly leaf and frontispiece are quite loose and almost detached from the binding. The remainder of the text block is tight, pages are generally clean and free from marks. Cloth across spine is slightly faded/discoloured. Light foxing on the first and last endpages and pastedowns (remainder of the text is large unaffected).
Old Saint Paul's: Discolouration to the spine. There's some age related wear to the front and back boards (there's also some small marks on both boards). There's foxing on the page edges and pastedowns. Text block is fairly tight, pages are generally clean. There's light foxing on the page edges.
The Spendthrift: Text block is tight, boards and pages in place, pages are generally clean and free from marks. Spine is slightly discoloured. There's a few small marks on the front and back boards, as well as the spine. There's also general age related wear to the boards (eg, cloth is slightly frayed). Very slight tear at the top left corner of pp. 266 and 268. There's foxing on the end pages, pastedowns and title page, however the rest of the book is largely unaffected. There's light foxing on the page edges. This copy also features gilt lettering.
Guy Fawkes: Text block is fairly tight, pages are generally clean, boards and pages in place. Foxing on the first and last end pages and paste downs. The spine mesh is visible from inside the back cover. General age related wear to the boards and the spine is slightly discoloured. There are a few marks on the boards and there's light foxing on the page edges.
The Tower of London: Pencil marks on the pastedown, boards have a few marks and age related wear. Spine is slightly discoloured. Page xvi. of the page contents has come loose from the binding, but aside from this the text block is tight. Pages are generally clean, however there's light foxing to the page edges. There's foxing on the first and last end pages and pastedowns (remainder of the book is largely unaffected).
Crichton: Text block is tight, pages are clean. There's discolouration to the spine and age related wear to the boards. There's light foxing on the first and last end pages and page edges (remainder of the book is largely unaffected). Features gilt lettering and, as per every book, a frontispiece.
The Miser's Daughter: Text block is tight, pages are clean. There's some marks on the boards and discolouration on the spine. There's also a tear to the top right of the pastedown on the inside front cover (it stretches about 1/3 of the way down the book and leaves the front board feeling a little loose). There's foxing on the first and last end pages, the title page and the page edges (the rest of the book is largely unaffected).
Auriol or the Elixir of Life: Text block is tight, pages are clean. There's some age related wear to the boards, including a few marks. There's some discolouration to the spine. There's foxing on the first and last end pages, the title page and the page edges (the remainder of the book is largely unaffected).
