Condition Report

There's a 5cm tear to the gutter visible from the pastedown and a 4cm tear to the cloth covering the spine (see images). There's some marking, creasing and general discolouration to the boards. The spine mesh is partially visible from the pastedown, contents and title pages, and the text block is in place but a little loose. There's an inscription on the ffep; there's heavy spotting to both end pages, however the rest of the pages are largely unaffected. The first few pages are slightly loose but still attached to the binding. The spine mesh is full visible from p. 879 (the gutter has worn away). There's some rubbing to the copyright page. There's an inscription dated 1941 on the ffep.
