This copy is in reasonable condition. It bears the stamp of a parish church and previous owner marks, particularly on the title page and endpapers. There is a clean strip of green tape running along the gutter between the first end page and the paste-down, with some additional tape marks between the title page and page four. The binding is firm despite the tape reinforcement. There is some light smudging along the edges of the pages, likely from general use, though it is not particularly noticeable and blends into the natural tone of the pages, almost like a patina.
