Condition Report

Overall, this copy is in acceptable condition and is best suited as a reading copy. The boards are in good condition with some light fading and marking, along with light edge wear. The cloth covering the spine shows some fading and slight edge wear. There is no front free endpaper or any blank pages at the beginning of the book, which appear to have been torn out. The spine mesh is almost fully visible from the first title page, which is quite heavily marked (see images). There is a persistent black smudge or cloud effect along the right side of the pages, which becomes lighter as the book progresses. Overall, the pages are generally clean, with only a few light spots scattered throughout. The binding remains firm, and the gutter at the back of the book is intact. A fold-out map is included at the back of the book, which has a small tear to the left side. Images form part of the description.
