Condition Report
Overall, this copy is in acceptable condition, suitable as a reading copy. Pencil inscriptions are present on the first paste-down and the front free endpaper (FFEP), with heavy tanning and wear to the FFEP. The gutter adjacent to the first paste-down shows considerable wear, and the spine mesh is partially visible at the final paste-down. The boards exhibit noticeable discolouration, and the book has a slight forward lean. There is a small tear on the left margin of page 17. Heavy tanning is also visible on the last end page, but the pages are generally clean. The binding is relatively firm despite a gap between the text block and the hinge.
