Condition report

Note: this book weighs 3kg. Overall, this book is in acceptable condition. There's extensive rubbing to the boards, particularly the cloth covering the spine and the corners of the boards (see images). There's a ~4cm crack to the bottom left edge of the cloth covering the spine. There's much smaller cracks to the top left and right of the cloth covering the spine. There's also age related wear and marking to the boards. The binding is relatively firm and the pages are generally clean, however there is tanning around the edges of most of the plates/pages. There's very heavy wear to the gutter adjacent to the first pastedown and heavy spotting to the first few pages, including the title page.
