This incomplete set comprises six volumes and was published between 1840-41 by L. Curmer.

Condition Report

Condition varies by volume. Some of the pages are slightly bowed and some of the boards are chipped. Tanning, spotting and foxing varies throughout each volume, however generally speaking it's more prevalent to the first and last few pages of each volume. Some pages have heavy spotting/tanning, however subsequent pages can often have very little. There's pencil marginalia in some of the volumes. Vol. I: There's marking and age related wear to the boards and tanning and intermittent spotting throughout (tanning is more prevalent to the first and last few pages). The binding is firm and the pages are generally clean (free from marks). A very small number of pages have pencil marginalia. Vol. II: The raised bands are chipped (see images) and there's rubbing to the edges of the boards. There's marking and age related wear to the boards, as well as tanning and intermittent spotting throughout. The binding is firm and the pages are generally clean (free from marks). There's a perforated edge to pp. 58-59 (unclear if it's a tear). There's light bowing to the pages. Vol. III: The cloth covering the two raised bands at the bottom of the spine is partially detached. There's marking and age related wear to the boards and tanning and intermittent spotting throughout (tanning is more prevalent to the first and last few pages). Vol. IV: There's very a minor chip to the raised bands. There's marking and age related wear to the boards, as well as tanning and intermittent spotting throughout. Slight bowing to some of the pages. Some of the first few pages are stained/tanned at the bottom (see images). Vol. I (Province): The raised bands are chipped (see images). There's marking and age related wear to the boards. Tanning and intermittent spotting throughout. The binding is firm and the pages are generally clean (free from marks). Some of the page corners are stained/tanned (see images). There's heavy tanning/staining to the title page and fly title. Vol. II (Province): There's age related wear and rubbing to the boards, and a small amount of chipping to the raised bands. There's some wear to the gutter adjacent rto the pastedowns, however the binding is firm and the pages are generally clean (free from marks). There's heavy tanning/spotting to the first and last few pages and lighter tanning/spotting throughout.
