Condition Report
Overall, this copy is in acceptable, reading condition. The cloth on the spine is partially detached, with threads visibly protruding. The boards show fairly heavy discolouration and moderate edge wear, with several nicks around the edges. The spine mesh is partially visible from both the front and back pastedowns. The gutter adjacent to the first free end page is worn, with the first two pages partially detached, hanging by the top edge. There is smudging to the right side of the title page, some speckling, and light spotting on a few pages. Binding remains generally firm apart from the two loosened pages. There is a very small tear on the right edge of page 46. Pages display a general patina effect consistent with age, and one illustration shows slight marking on the left side. This copy serves primarily as a reading copy.
