A Fine City, Norwich is a visual journey through the charming city of Norwich, capturing its timeless beauty and dynamic evolution. Through photographs, this book showcases how Norwich seamlessly harmonizes its rich historical heritage with modernity.
It proudly displays the elegant City Hall, inviting gardens that offer respite, and a progressive City College alongside the venerable Grammar School, nurturing talents like Nelson, artist Cotman, and writer George Borrow. The promise of the forthcoming University of East Anglia within city limits hints at a vibrant future. This book celebrates Norwich as a living testament to its storied past while embracing the promise of a bright tomorrow.
There's a large tear at the top of the dust cover and a few smaller tears at the spine of the dust cover, however the boards are in fairly good condition (there's some discolouration to the top of the front cover). The text block is tight and the pages are clean, however there's some foxing on the dust cover flaps and an inscription on the paste down. We've listed this as "good" condition because the only real issue is the dust cover.
