Chichester: Good condition. There's light marking and edge wear to the boards. There's an inscription dated 1902 on the ffep. There's spotting and tanning to the first and last few pages and light tanning throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm, however there may be the occasional mark or smudge in the margins. Salisbury: Good condition. There's a small tear to the bottom right corner of the last end page. There's light marking and edge wear to the boards and an inscription to the ffep. There's spotting to the first and last few pages and light spotting throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm, however there may be the occasional mark or smudge in the margins. Winchester: Good condition. As per Chichester. Lichfield: Good condition. As per Chichester (the inscription is on the pastedown, not the ffep). Also, a couple of words in the text have been underlined. Coventry: Acceptable condition. This copy is bowed and dented. There's a large crease to the front board, as well as edge wear and light marking to the boards. There's a surface tear to the first pastedown. There's an inscription dated 1931 on the ffep. There's light spotting to the first and last few pages and light tanning throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm, however there may be the occasional mark or smudge in the margins. Wimborne: Acceptable condition. As per Chichester, however the author has written notes on a few of the pages. There's also heavier marking and edge wear to the boards and the gutters adjacent to the pastedowns are slightly worn. Durham: Poor condition. The text block is partially detached from the binding and the last few pages are fully detached from the binding. The previous owner has tried to tape the detached pages to the binding. There's notes on some of the pages and a lot of pencil notes on the last pastedown. There's heavy tanning to the first and last end pages and light tanning/spotting throughout. There's also marking and edge wear to the boards. Rochester: Good condition. There's marking and edge wear to the boards. There's an inscription dated 1923 on the ffep. There's spotting and tanning to the first and last few pages and light spotting and tanning throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm, however there may be the occasional mark or smudge in the margins. Bristol: Good condition. There's edge wear, particularly at the top and bottom of the spine. There's also slight marking and discolouration to the spine. There's spotting and tanning to the first and last few pages and light tanning throughout. The pages are generally clean and the binding is firm, however there are some marks/notes in the margin of a small number of pages. Lincoln: Acceptable condition. As per Bristol, but with heavier discolouration and a small chip to the cloth at the bottom of the spine. There's also slightly heavier spotting on the first and last few pages. The pastedown is slightly detached from the front cover. York: Poor condition. There's a lot of note taking/marginalia throughout the book. The previous owner has also used tape to reattach the text block to the covers. There's some rubbing and wear to the covers, as well as light tanning throughout. This copy also features correspondence left in the book from the previous owner (i.e. notes about the book). Wells: Poor condition. The text block is still partially detached from the binding and the previous owner has tried to tape it back together. Some of the fly-leaf may have been torn from the book. There's a small tear to the right edge of the fly-title. There's also quite a lot of note taking/marginalia throughout the book. Carlisle: Poor condition. The front cover is partially detached and the previous owner has attempted to tape the binding back together. There's writing, marking, rubbing and edge wear to the covers. The pages are lightly tanned and there's a small tear to the top of the back cover.
